At eight-years-old, Magnificent Miles is a distinguished and discerning Lab gentleman who prefers not to mix with the doggy hoi polloi in the comfort of his own home, so he requested that he be the one and only four-legged king of his new castle. Being a Lab of exceptionally good taste, Miles was instantly smitten when he first met his new mom, Kelly, and he knew without a doubt that she was the very special person who deserved his never-ending love, devotion, and sloppy Lab kisses from now until forever. 
Kelly sent us an update on their new life together: Since I have got Miles on October 6th, he has made my life seem a lot more complete. When I adopted Miles I was just 4 weeks out from a partial knee replacement, and he has been a big help with my recovery. He is my 4 legged shadow, always at my side, whether I am on the couch or lying in bed reading. He is a cuddle bug, always wanting to be touching me with his paw or some part of his body. We love to go on 3 to 4 walks every day, usually a mile or more. With the new snow that we got, I found out that he LOVES the snow. He loves to run around in it and also to roll around covering himself in snow. We enjoy going to the local dog parks, and he is slowly learning his manners. He is really protective of me and does not like other dogs coming up to me without his permission first. He is great about coming to me when he is called when he is off leash. Adopting Miles was the greatest thing that I have done this year, my life is so much happier now.
