Magnificent Moose is here to say that sometimes more is more. He wants you to know that super-sized Labs come equipped with more tail to wag, more belly to rub, more fur to fly (never mind) and they’re easier to spot from a distance. They can cover more ground in a single bound (although mileage may vary) and, most importantly, there’s simply more Lab to love. Who could resist?
This lovely Moose is home forever with Dona and Dan, who sent us an update on their big boy:
We had lost our previous SHLR Auto to a brain tumor totally out of the blue and after a month or so Dan was surfing the your website looking for another dog . We were contacted that this handsome 3 year old BIG 94 lb white Lab, still a puppy at heart, was at the vets where he had just been neutered and was ready to be rehomed. We were able to go see him the day after that. He immediately took to Dan. We could see he needed a little polishing on the manner side but had a few tricks down already.
We changed his name from Zeus to Moose. We thought that fit him well. He loves playing in the snow, following Dan from tool box to shop project and back like a loyal shop dog would. We have taken him to Arizona for our annual snowbird trip and he is loving it. Our travel friends Jeff and Judy have a SHLR as well, Gunner. He and Moose love to play ball a couple times a day at the dog park. I am sure their dads love it too. Gunner and Moose are becoming good buds after a little bit of hanging out. We are loving our big goof, and look forward to many more years.
