One–and–a–half–year–old Nellie recently traded in her life on the road. She is blazing a new trail! With a new family, she tries very hard to please. She really hates to let them out of her sight. But if she has to say goodnight, she is sure to make up for the time of snoozing, early in the morning. Nelly loves spreading her own joy, just about as thick as she can, so Lauren and John will know how grateful she is to be home. She wanted to mention that she has a new buddy, Riggins, and he is learning how good it is to have an outgoing friend to “dog around” with!
Nellie’s new family tells us:
Nellie has been a ball of chocolate energy and love since the moment we met her! We were on a mission to find our older dog a playmate and boy did we succeed. They truly are the best of friends! 
We could tell from the first day that she knew she was home. Nellie is the first to wake up in our family and starts our day with slobbery kisses and head bumps like clockwork. She is always by our side, even if it means going up and down the stairs repeatedly while we get ready for work. Nellie loves being social, and when we have people over she’s a hot commodity sitting on laps and surveying the room for scratches! She truly has become part of our family and makes us laugh with her goofy antics, up to no good looks, and Wonder Woman jumps off our deck into the snow! We couldn’t be happier with our new addition, and we can’t thank Safe Harbor enough for bringing her into our lives! - Lauren & John
