Rocky charmed his new parents, Marilyn and Steve. He snuggled his way into their hearts by being such a good boy. He fits in nicely with the pack remove comma and sleeps in the lap of luxury.  What more could a pup ask for.  We hope that he has many wonderful years with his forever family!

“We put our last dog to sleep in July, 2020.  She was a purebred black Lab that we actually rescued.  She was definitely a wonderful member of our family.  It took us awhile to realize how much we missed having a dog in our life.  Our decision-making process to replace our Lab had several goals.  First, we wanted another Lab.  Labs have such good dispositions and are suited to our outdoor lifestyle.  We also decided that we wanted a yellow male, if possible.  We also believed that rescuing a dog was best for us.  In our search, we found the Safe Harbor website and completed the application process.  We consider ourselves blessed that Safe Harbor introduced us to Rocky, a 16-month-old cream colored male Lab.

What a wonderful addition Rocky has been to our family.  We have had him for three months now.  He has truly worked his way into our hearts. He is a joy to have around and is responding well to his training. There is still a lot of puppy in Rocky and he shows much enthusiasm for his daily walks and romps in the mountain snow. He has settled in well with our extended family of five dogs, as shown in our Christmas Day photo.

Thank you, Safe Harbor, for bringing us our sweet boy Rocky”.

Many thanks to Lisa S, who fostered Rocky!
