What could be better than having a gorgeous black Safe Harbor Lab boy romping around your home?  How about adding a little chocolate on top!  Gloria and Greg have added sweet chocolate Sadie to their family, and big brother Rocky is thrilled to have her join him in the four paws club.  Sadie (like Rocky before her) arrived as a foster dog, but after taking a good look around she realized that she had already landed in the best home ever.  So, Sadie turned on her considerable charm and quickly convinced Gloria and Greg that they were about to become forever parents once again.  Congratulations, it’s a girl!Gloria sent us an update on their new pup:We are so excited to have Sadie be a part of our family.  She is a joy and a true sweetheart. For a one-year-old lab, she is amazingly calm, although we can count on some animated playtime each day.  Here are a few of her favorite things:Getting pettedEating food or treatsChasing bunniesGetting pettedPlaying with her big brother Rocky (a SHLR alum)Playing fetchHave I mentioned she likes to be petted?! If your hands aren’t busy, she thinks they should be petting her!Sadie and Rocky play together so well – they chase each other around the house and backyard and love to play tug of war.  She also enjoys taking naps in my home office and is a quiet girl when I’m on calls or in meetings.  Her penchant for chasing bunnies has made most of them move out of our back yard, which is great!  Leash training is proving to be a challenge since all those bunnies that moved out of our yard are now around the neighborhood and we see them while walking – but we continue to work on it!We are thrilled that Sadie found her way to our home!Thanks to Gloria, Greg, and Rocky for fostering Sadie, and congratulations on adding this lucky, lovely girl to your family!!!
