Yoshi arrived at Claudia and Bob’s house as a foster dog, just looking for a temporary place to hang his leash and store his bowl while he sniffed around for a forever home. After a while, the “foster” part of the equation began to fade as they all realized what a fine forever family of three they would be. They soon made it official, proving once again that one of the best kinds of success is a successful foster fail!
Yoshi’s new parents tell us:
“After 30+ years of marriage, we decided to add to our family with a beautiful four-year-old chocolate Lab named Yoshi. Adding 80+ pounds of fur has been quite the experience. We love the way he tilts his head when he is listening to you (we think listening for some magic words like “walk” or “treats”).
Yoshi is a well-mannered dog, is quiet and very calm for a four-year-old. He is fun to watch as he explores the neighborhood on our walks! He is definitely a “mamma’s boy” as he goes wherever Claudia goes and follows her like they are attached by a cord.
He loves his daily scratches and brushing, and when he wants attention, will bring us one of his stuffies. As we are learning more and more about each other, he is fitting in nicely and we are so happy to be able to provide him with a home where he is lavished with attention.”
Many thanks to Claudia and Bob for fostering Yoshi and welcoming him home forever!
